Samsung is a huge company! They make some of the best smartphones
and tablets. Some of which is the S6 and S6 edge. Which phone is the best for
the average buyer? This is hard to say because everybody will buy this phone
for many different reasons. So we will just compare the two phones. Also since
they are the same phones in many ways we will just focus on the design, price,
and features.
First is Design, despite these two phones looking very
similar to apple product, they are different in cases compared to each other. The
most obvious difference in the two phones is the curve, which is on both sides.
These curves have their disadvantages and advantages. These curves make the
phone look sleeker, and more expensive. Yet those curves make the phone feel
very awkward while holding it in your hand. For when holding it regularly it
cause you palms to touch the screen making the phone do tasks that you would
not necessarily want it to do. Also these curves cause glare on the screen,
meaning it catches sunlight very well.
Second are the features, and Samsung wouldn't be Samsung without
their features. Some of these features were not intended. First is the ability
to add favorite contacts on the side bar, allowing quick and easy replies to
those contacts. Also that when your screen is faced down on a table you will
get a nice color flowing on the phone allowing you to know who is calling. This
feature is not available on the regular S6. Also because the screen on the S6
edge is curved it will make picture look like there is no bezel on the phone.
Last is the price of the two phone. The S6 edge is 100 dollars
more than the regular S6. The price difference of the two phones is quite a bit
of mullah. To be honest, these features of the S6 edge doesn't justify the
price difference. The fact that Samsung is able to be able to give the S6 edge
more feature is good, but the phone is worth the wait. With this wait the price
difference between the two phones are likely to become less of a difference.
Finally the S6 edge is better the S6 as far as features and design.
Allowing for this phone to be praised by many tech nerds for a while. Yet the
features and design of the S6 doesn't justify the price difference and never
will unless you pick the phone up on sale.
